Below is a seven-line prompt. These prompts help guide you through the creation of a poem. You can fill in the blanks with your own lines or draw inspiration from the framework provided.
This week’s prompt is designed to help you connect with the new moon in Taurus.

I wanted to share mine this week…
The Roots Are Always Reaching
Dark sky, a welcome expanse of shadows.
I turn to the beginning with a sense
of wonder that I have been tending this spring
like seeds. I am waiting patiently. I hold
my dreams with a knowing of their eventual flower.
Just a reminder that there’s no right way to do this. If you write one, please share it with me (subscribers can comment on this post!), share it on our paid subscriber chat, or post it on Instagram. My handle is @K8belew.

The Roots of Knowing -
The roots are calling me to dig deeper as the
Dark sky reaches inward and pulls at threads of doubt and nothingness
The shadow is always there, searching for the most tender moments to strike
Beginning with me, there was the end of accepting answers that were untrue
Wonder was the blessing that led to the red road and carried me forth
Sometimes in spring I still feel as free as that girl who was not
Waiting at the gate named permission
Knowing all along that joy does not need to be granted access to exist
I feel like this is a perfect snapshot in time for you. Lovely. Very visual, like I can see you framed in these words.
