Below is a seven-line prompt. These prompts help guide you through creating a poem. You can fill in the blanks with your own lines or draw inspiration from the framework provided.
This week’s prompt is designed to help you connect with the magic of the new moon solar eclipse in Leo.

I wanted to share mine this week…
Departure from the Map
This is a prayer of bewilderment.
May I always be open to possibility
under this sun of my life anywhere
I go. Oh, map which I leave at the altar
of the fool. Courage begins in unexpected
ways. I step, dog at my side, over a horizon
and look, a laugh breaks from my body,
a kind of rupture of joy.
Just a reminder that there’s no right way to do this. If you write one, please share it with me (subscribers can comment on this post!), share it on our paid subscriber chat, or post it on Instagram. My handle is @K8belew.
