Weekly Magic 1.20.26
A scrapbook of my creative life
What I’ve been inspired by this week…
Petroglyphs of deer-like creatures.
I’ve been listening to The Mountain Goats a lot this week. Any other fans? Watch this Reel here.
Robert Frost reading his iconic winter poem. Listen here.
Aquarius season. I’m an Aquarius (stellium), and so I’m partial, but I love the energy this season brings.
The first snowdrops are here!
Saturn. I’m thinking a lot about you, Saturn in Pisces generation, as you finish the last weeks of your Saturn Return, and Saturn in Aries generation, as you take the final steps across the threshold into your journey for the next few years. As a Saturn in Aquarius native, I give you my best.
Friction maxing. TBH, I love making my own plans, processes, and spreadsheets, and I’m not giving it up in 2026.
I’m the seasonal co-host on The Moon in Carolina with Shelby Bundy! This week’s episode, “In episode 62 of the Moon in Carolina podcast, host Shelby Bundy is joined by her winter season co-host, Kate Belew, in a conversation about the magic of sleep. Listen in as they ponder the power of dreams, the possibility of parallel lives, and all the magic that happens while we are in between states of consciousness.” Listen here.
Give me more lazy kitchen Witchcraft. Watch here.
Join me for a 90-minute workshop on Digital Altars: Social Media for Small Businesses & Magic Makers. Together, we’ll discuss strategies for enchantment, community, and connection. You can learn more about this once-a-year offering here.

There will be death and rebirth cycles, ouroboros, oracular manifestations, finding your feral, engaging with writing rituals, working with the world of publishing, meditation, word witchery, and the divine reminder that you are a writer. The Bardo is a 5-week, 10-session writing program for word witches, magic makers, and lovers of books. Yes eternally inspired by “Stopping by woods on a snowy evening.” It’s the only poem I know by heart (that I didn’t write) and it is my all time favorite. Even though it’s a winter poem it has followed me through all the seasons in my life and kept me here many, many times.
Ahhhh. And the birthday girl soon-to-be! 🧙♀️🤍🕯️✨
