• The Little Ritual Podcast. I’m so excited to share that Jena Ocean hosted me for “The Intersections of Creativity and Magic” on the Little Ritual podcast. This was such a fun conversation, and I’m so grateful to Jena for having me and for this thoughtful and magical conversation. “I’m so grateful to have gotten to host the WORD WITCH, Kate Belew, on the Little Ritual podcast! Kate is a lovely authority on all things writing and Witchery. She also generously offers some thoughts on Saturn return. ‘What’s the other option?’ She muses, ‘staying the same? • Biophilia returns with Biophilia: The Cosmos. A (free and donation-based) writing workshop inspired by biology and the wild ecological web we all belong to. Join us for a 90-minute writing workshop on Thursday, February 26th, at 7:00 pm EST. During this gathering, you’ll learn, discover, ask questions, and be inspired by four biological and ecological phenomena.This time, we’ll commune with the cosmos, be inspired by the night sky, the storied stars, the dancing galaxies, and how we commune with the mysteries of our far-reaching universe. With each missive and prompt, you’ll be encouraged to look up and connect with the cosmos as a creative messenger. This writing workshop will guide you through creating writing, poetry, and prose in response to the strangeness of our planet and its relationship to the universe, a reminder that we, too, are nature, and we are made from the same stuff as stars. • Creative magic! In episode 172 of the Magick & Alchemy podcast, Kristin Lisenby and I welcome back Shelby Bundy and Amanda D. Paulson! Shelby Bundy is the visionary and creatrix behind Tamed Wild, where modern magick meets ancient wisdom, and Amanda Paulson is a paranormal investigator and psychic medium based in the Pacific Northwest. In this conversation, the coven discusses the crossroads of magick and creativity, highlighting their literary muses and current works-in-progress.
